Short Description of the Workshop:
This workshop will allow the participants to experience simulation as it is used in training of pilots and cabin crew. Beyond the technical experience of simulation this will allow reflection on the framework for using simulation for training in high-risk operations. The workshop will be managed with flexibility to optimise the experience of the simulation, but also complemented with as much as presentation and discussion as possible to extract useful conclusions in regards to effective use of simulation in training.
Objectives of the Workshop:
The main objective is to provide an experience of simulation as it is used in training of pilots and cabin crew and based on this prompt discussion on general conclusions regarding effective use of simulation in demanding operational environments.
